Three is sometimes the coolest number...

This may come as news to some people, but I happen to come from a family of all females; as in, I have three sisters; one older and two younger. I know, my Dad is one lucky guy :)

As soon as Kelly emailed me for a session with her three girls, I was instantly thinking of awesome ideas for the shoot. The props that were chosen included; a pink parasol, vintage rotary telephone and lots of bubbles. Well I could only find colored bubbles (which ended up being a gi-normous mess and FYI; the colored bubbles, aka "war-paint" play a part in some of these images!) and they were without-a-doubt the most popular of the three props.

Amanda & Johnny - Part One

I'm posting this wedding as two parts; mainly because I just couldn't wait to get the first half of these images blogged! I met Amanda a few years ago when I started going to her to get my hair 'did'; she is one of the stylists at Charisma Salon on Miles Road. At the time Amanda would always talk about her boyfriend Johnny - and just by hearing her words, you could tell how truly in love they were. Fast forward about a year and all of a sudden she's flashing a gorgeous ring in my face, telling me she's engaged and she'd like me to be their wedding photographer!

The wedding was held at Lake Forest Country Club in Hudson. The venue is very reminiscent of Stan Hywet or The O'Neil House in Akron - a tudor style mansion with the most beautiful landscaping I have ever laid eyes on. The day was filled with lots of smiles and laughter; Amanda was so calm she was even doing everyone's hair! All in all the wedding was a blast and the dance floor was rockin' all night thanks to Danny of Champagne Entertainment.
