Bethany and Norm's Wedding

It finally happened...it is here...and it was fabulous :)

Bethany and Norm were married this past weekend in West Chester, OH. The weather was seriously to-die-for...and my partner, Sarah Simpson, and I were at hand to create the floral arrangements, decorate the reception space and make sure the whole event ran smoothly from start to finish. It was ALL THINGS SAVVY and everything we could have possibly hoped for!

From the color scheme of blues, greens and purples to the centerpieces of votive candles, crisp green apples and hand-arranged flowers, no detail was left untouched. And to end the perfect evening, we had the perfect sunset. Congrats Bethany and Norm - we wish you a lifetime of nothing but happiness!

Ashley & Doug's Wedding

When Terry, from Platinum Photography, asked me to be a main shooter this year - I was obviously honored and knew she would be able to book me some prettttty sweet weddings, but this one definitely exceeded every expectation I had!

Ashley & Doug are kind of the coolest people ever; in a sense that they are too adorable for words but also LOVE to have a good time! We did their engagement session in the dead of winter and at one point I had Doug in a short sleeved shirt sledding, of all things...but I digress.

Their wedding was beautiful and we managed to sneak in some awesome time photo-opp time, in Brecksville, in between ceremony and reception. Then it was onto the reception at St. Michaels Woodside, where they were surrounded by family and friends and even partied to a Bruce Springsteen medley at the end of the night...like I said, coolest people ever! Big thank you to Catherine McKinley for second shooting.

Santa Barbara Vacation

This is going to be a different post for me! I'm normally blogging weddings, engagement or portrait sessions - but this is more of a vacation diary in a sense. Last Thursday; my Dad, his wife and my two younger sisters, packed our belongings and headed out W to Santa Barbara, CA. We stayed with my Aunt and Uncle who literally built a house IN the mountains and they have the most breathtaking view.

Our itinerary included; visiting wineries, touring the historical downtown Santa Barbara, an early morning beach hike, plenty of shopping and finally a long drive along the PCH to see Malibu and some of the most amazing homes and beachfront properties I have ever laid eyes on. Overall it was such a great trip and so nice to spend time with my family; laughing, telling stories, drinking good wine and eating fabulous food :)
